A calmer mind, a clearer plan
You might be managing nerves that don’t match your preparation, feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns, or finding that sport, training, and life are pulling you in too many directions at once. You may look “fine” on the outside, but inside it can feel like you’re carrying a lot: pressure, self-doubt, perfectionism, low mood, or constant overthinking.
I’m a psychologist who supports people across sport, exercise, and everyday life to feel steadier, cope better, and perform more consistently when it matters to them. I work with individuals and organisations, and my aim is always to offer support that is practical, grounded, and tailored- so you leave sessions with more than insight; you leave with a plan.
My approach
My approach combines sport and exercise psychology expertise with an integrative, person‑centred and CBT‑informed way of working. Sessions provide a collaborative space to understand what is happening, make sense of patterns, and then translate that insight into clear, practical strategies you can use between sessions.
Depending on what you need, we may work with thoughts, emotions, behaviour, routines, identity, values, relationships, and the environments you perform and live within. We’ll keep things focused on what’s relevant for you, without forcing a one-size-fits-all model.
What we can work on
People come to me for support with a wide range of goals and difficulties, including:
Confidence and self-trust
Pressure, nerves, and performance anxiety
Overthinking, perfectionism, and harsh self-criticism
Motivation, consistency, and habit-building
Focus, distractions, and switching off
Injury, setbacks, and returning after time out
Balance, burnout, and protecting wellbeing alongside goals
If you’re unsure whether what you’re experiencing “counts” as something to get support for, you’re welcome to reach out - often that uncertainty is part of the picture.
